Apply for Summer SAT & College Application Preparation Packages
Veritas Tutors is committed to opening access to its services to as many students as possible. In addition to the Veritas Graham & Parks in-school volunteer program for underprivileged students as well as its regular financial aid offerings, Veritas offers SAT and College Application Preparation Scholarships to deserving students.
This summer, Veritas Tutors will be offering eight scholarships to students in the Greater Boston area. Four scholarships will be given to high school sophomores or juniors for twelve hours of comprehensive SAT preparation, and four students will be awarded a college application preparation package. The application preparation will include help with choosing schools, creating a narrative, drafting essays, choosing recommenders, and completing the common application. Each scholarship is valued at $1500.
Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of the scholarship application, teacher and guidance counselor recommendations, and financial need.
Within the application, Veritas Tutors is looking for evidence that students are committed to their academics and extracurriculars and have made the most of any opportunities they have been presented with.
The application period for scholarships begins on March 15 and extends through May 15th. Winners will be notified by May 31st and scholarship programs will take place over summer in Cambridge, MA.
