Academic Biography
Gayle graduated from Harvard with a cum laude degree in Biology and from University of Pennsylvania and Wharton with a combined MD/MBA degree. She has been tutoring her peers in math and science since she was in high school, conducted Harvard alumni admissions interviews, and helps mentor pre-meds, medical students, and physicians considering or re-considering medicine as a career. Experiences ranging from serving as a TA for a University of Pennsylvania health care course to working in venture capital to preparing biotech CEO presentations have given Gayle the ability to explain complex concepts in understandable ways to diverse audiences.
Personal Biography
When not talking avidly about health care, Gayle can either be found cooking (or writing about cooking on her blog) or taking (or teaching) dance classes -- mainly jazz and tap. If she is not in the country, she is probably cooking and dancing abroad, most likely in France. Having worked across a broad spectrum of the health care industry, Gayle is well-versed in traditional and non-traditional health care careers and in translating complex concepts in a comprehensible way while engaging her audience. She has also helped run the recruiting programs at her previous consulting firms and has mentored those applying to business and other graduate schools as well as helped prepare and review professional resumes.
