Academic Biography

Kyle graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in '05 with an A.B. in Economics. In addition to the traditional economics curriculum, he pursued extensive study of political philosophy and its relation to economics, with an emphasis on the early moderns. This research led to his senior thesis on the origins of modern "liberal" economics in the philosophy of Machiavelli, Hobbes, and Locke. In 2009 Kyle graduated summa cum laude from Berklee College of music, where he studied classical composition and jazz performance on a full tuition scholarship. He has significant tutoring and teaching experience in both academics (economics, philosophy, statistics, writing) and music.

Personal Biography

Kyle is a professional musician and plays at many Boston area clubs as well as private function halls throughout New England. He freelances with an eclectic variety of groups and leads his own jazz and R&B ensembles. Also, Kyle is contributing a commentary on The Prince for TheFinalClub.org.
