Academic Biography

Ben graduated cum laude, ranked 3rd in his class, from Tabor Academy in June, 2006. He earned AP scholar with distinction recognition and scored a 750 on his SAT Math as well as 740 and 730 on the Math SAT II tests. Ben recently graduated from Harvard with a B.A. in Psychology (Social and Cognitive Neuroscience Track), a language citation in Spanish and also fulfilled all Pre-Medical requirements. In the fall of 2010, Ben will be attending Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for a Master of Health Science Degree in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and has plans to pursue Medical School in the future.

Personal Biography

Ben played four years of Varsity lacrosse at his High School, Tabor Academy, and four years Varsity Lacrosse at Harvard University. At Tabor, Ben was a captain his senior year and received All New England honors his Junior and Senior years as well as USILA All American Honors his senior year. He also earned 12 Varsity letters at Tabor in Soccer, Hockey, and Lacrosse. At Harvard, Ben was named the Most Improved Player of the Harvard 2009 lacrosse team and garnered ALL IVY-league honors in 2010. Ben also earned a varsity hockey letter after competing in four years of J.V. hockey at Harvard.

  • While Ben is not studying or playing lacrosse, he enjoys doing community service and spending time with his friends and family. Ben coordinated various community service projects for the 2009-2010 Harvard lacrosse team through Habitat for Humanity, MetroLacrosse, and the Boston Public School Association. He loves to coach lacrosse and teach.
