Academic Biography
Denva graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Italian Studies and Art History with highest honors from Sweet Briar College. She has studied at Universita degli Studi di Carlo Bo in Italy and at the South Carolina Governor’s School for Arts and Humanities in Greenville, South Carolina where she specialized in acting. Before attending Harvard University where she is currently a PhD candidate in the department of the History of Art and Architecture, Denva was a high school teacher at the MATCH School in Boston, Massachusetts. At MATCH Denva taught high school English, both literature and writing, to 9th graders. During her tenure there, MATCH was the recipient of the prestigious EPIC award for excellent teaching practices and MCAS scores.
Personal Biography
Denva is originally from South Carolina and has a love for personal fitness and finance. She also has an extensive knowledge of medieval art and method acting.
- Has interned at The Cloisters, a medieval art museum associated with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City
- Has interned at the Walters Museum in Baltimore, Maryland working on Baroque and Renaissance objects
