Academic Biography
Maryann received her BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and is presently a graduate student in the MEd School Counseling program at the University of Massachusetts. Maryann also served as an Associate Director of International and Transfer Admissions for the University of Pennsylvania for eleven years. There she evaluated more than 15,000 admissions applications from across the US and around the world. In addition, she has worked as an independent college admissions counselor and as an admissions officer for Columbia University.
Personal Biography
An Indophile, she was also admitted to read an advanced degree in Modern Indian History at Cambridge University. In her spare time, Maryann enjoys traveling and learning foreign languages, and speaks Hindi and Urdu. She has studied abroad in India and Ecuador and traveled across 5 continents giving presentations on the college admissions and financial aid process. Her interests include yoga, hang gliding, ziplining, reading, foreign films, and a great cup of coffee.
